§ 01 — The House

The Barber's Charter, in Brief.

Waterloo is a parlour for the working gentleman. We cut hair, we trim beards, and we shave with a straight razor and a good hot towel. We do this slowly, on purpose, by hand.

The room is dark wood and low light. The chair is oxblood leather, set on tile. There is always coffee on the stove, and the radio is on low. You are welcome to sit a while after your cut.

Precision cut & shampoo with hot towel and head massage. Hot-lather neck shave, style, and a shoulder massage to finish.

All of The Haircut, ten dollars off, for sixty-five and wiser. Wisdom is appreciated and honoured here.

Single-number clipper cut all over, with the shampoo, hot towel, and shoulder massage of The Haircut.

Beard Trim Deluxe
Beard trim and conditioning, a straight-razor finish, and a facial. Half an hour, the full ritual for the beard.

Beard Trim
Beard length trimmed and lined up with a foil shaver. Fifteen minutes to set the shape back.

The Kid (4-12)
Half an hour for boys four through twelve. The full Haircut, brought down to a kid's size.

A first cut, a second cut, and the unhurried chair-time it takes for a small one to sit through it. Candy wall on the way out.

Jessica works every chair you book. She has held shears since 2010 and trained old-school. She'll tell you when a haircut is too short to fix and when it isn't.
